Chris Garfield Obituary, Death – On Sunday, October 8, 2023, a horrific motorcycling accident occurred in the little village of Forest Grove, which is located in the state of Oregon. The Oregon State Police arrived promptly at the scene of the collision that occurred on Highway 47 in Washington County, near to milepost 22.5, when it occurred.
A collision occurred between a Toyota C-HR driven by Beaverton resident Emily Simora, 70, and a vehicle driven by Forest Grove resident Chris William Garfield, 44. A well-known broker was seen cruising around on a BMW motorcycle at the John L. Scott Market Center. Initial inquiries led to the discovery that Simora was operating the Toyota when it was traveling in a westerly direction on Springhill Road.
When she turned southbound onto Highway-47, Simora was involved in a devastating head-on collision with Garfield’s motorcycle, which was traveling in the opposite direction but heading north. Chris Garfield tragically lost away as a result of his injuries there, leaving the neighborhood in a state of disbelief and despair.
In the aftermath of the collision, the young lady who was riding as a passenger on the motorcycle sustained injuries and was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment as soon as possible. Emily Simora, who was driving the Toyota and was involved in the crash, miraculously walked away from it uninjured.
